How can you say it's a flip flop? She is responding to a constant battle over pretty much nothing from a troupe of bullies who are making stuff up and yelling at the top of their old white man voices. When was the last time national released anything that wasn't either already on the table? Where's the criticism there? What about Barkley? Doing his oe on the taxpayer dollar. Common you guys. You're smarter than this.
What about all the other taxes?? Say anything to get into office then screw us later. They clearly have no idea what they want to do
Hmmm. 9 days out from an election and THIS happens? You're starting to look shambolic again Labour.Hope you enjoyed the brief stellar run, but looks like your wheels are about to fall off.
Question is what has Labour been doing for 9 years in opposition that they hadn't already got a tax working group to come up with what they planned to do this election? Seriously, labour has no credibility.
So maybe Joyce's $11billion hole has actually been found? If Labour haven't come up with a credible plan in 9 years on opposition, how can they expect the people of NZ to trust them with the government finances? It's more like let's think about this. #letsnotdothis
Flip flop? I never heard labour announce a policy around CGT just the media saying that was what labour is hiding. So the headline should be " Media assumes too much" they should just report on what is said not what they think they might say.
Remember this anyone : In 2011, MediaWorks received a $43 million loan guarantee for the Government to renew its licenses until 2030. The deal went against official advice, and then Communications Minister Steven Joyce was accused of having a conflict of interest as the past managing director of the company's RadioWorks division.
They've wanted that tax for years..they'll try it on again later on.. They just don't get it people dont want it
It seems Taxinda wasn't being so 'transparent' with us after all. If Labour crumbles this easily how on earth are they going to cope in a real crisis. The pressure is clearly getting to Jacinda & her naivety & inexperience in business is starting to show. Too much too soon Jacinda.
Labour have heard the call for New Zealanders' voices to be heard on tax and have responded. Can National please stop their 'Trash Talk' and start running a 'Clean Robust' campaign on their own policies. NZ's don't respond well to Dirty Politics, National can do better than trash talking
