I always buy butter - about three per week and always have eight in the fridge. I tend to get it on special - pak n save are cheapest
So many plant based alternatives, who cares how expensive it is or isn't. Why pay for cruelty, when the chances are you are actually against animal cruelty?
"OH do some baking to help your budget" - yeah okay spend $5 on butter which can get me a marge, bread and 1L milk.
So worth it best product around you can use it for everything eating with bread, eating by its self, baking, some people may use it to get baked, wood conditioner, leather conditioner, melt it down and use it as motor oil, massage oil, personal lubricant, get a boo boo rub some butter on it. The list goes on buy a whole carton next time your doing the groceries it will be worth the second mortgage you would need to take out
People spend that much on ice cream and other confectionary.Hopefully it won't stay up.If it does i would rather use butter for your health.
Come on now newshub, it's not hard to explain the price rise, the media contributed to it. Butter was considered bad for you for around 10 years, then the powers that be decided it's oil that's bad butters awesome again, all the butter plants have been slowed right down which means not as much product to sell, now everyone wants it it goes to the highest bidder in a International market hence the price rise ... nothing to do with the farmers. But also no one gave a stuff when those that worked in the butter factories were laid off though eh.
$9.87 for a block of budget at local four square or 7.80 if you drive half an hour to next town. Bolicks it not frigging healthy. It is everything in moderation. This man made oil. Trans fats. Other things in margarine is what our bodies are struggling with. Full of preservatives pushing up cancers. Fruit and veggies today are so heavily sprayed. Baby powder has just been formally found to cause cervical cancer. Its cigarette smokers leaving a cloud to punish and poison others who choose not too. ( 34 weeks pregnant and had to walk past over 10 people and their toxic cloud to get into the hospital) it's everything wrapped in plastic. But back to butter. I'd happily have a cow and make my own butter. Bet one can't access everything needed to make margarine
If they want to put the price of butter up just because we are buying it now, just don't use butter use olive oil spread it grows on a tree and is really healthy for you, and safe from the environment.
yup cheapest form of healthy fat for our bodies that is available on the market so they will up the prices so we will eat unhealthy stuff...
Yep I Pay $7.60 for mainland unsalted butter which is the only butter I buy, it's disgusting the price of it but since the rise have found some great butter free recipes 👍
