Farmers are the backbone of NZ. If you punish them with high taxes, the small towns and cities will suffer. Unemployment will rise and then they'll either have to to go to Auckland or Australia to find work. There are over half a million Kiwis with NZ passports living in OZ.If you vote Jacinda, you vote in ANOTHER RECESSION!
Farmers already pay for water consents and water metering and the technology to check it themselves. Not all farms irrigate, not all farms use masses of fertilisation, in fact some farms arent even surrounded by water.Farms are businesses that need clean water aswell to feed to animals and themselves hence why they are the only ones doing anything about the environment, what does auckland have to say about there mass human waste dumpings and storm water drain run offs??? They do nothing!!!
Jeez. If people believe Bill is protecting the environment and dont have an issue with his track record on productivity they will probably believe it wasn't him that took us 50 billion into debt. If you are going to lie lie big eh
National Parties suckin up to the farming community yet again. Here's what I don't understand. Farmers irrigate their lands and in so doing alter the water tables and aquifers, next there's fertilizers, sprays and over stocking that pollutes the public's water-ways. Strangely National is not prepared to apply a user pays rule on them....the Kiwi public will be obliged to pick-up the tab------->forward to the shopping trolley. In recognition of the NZ public's participation in the business of cleaning up the environmental nasties caused by these same farmers, we the public are expected to shut up and pay extortionate prices ( export based) for MILK, BUTTER,CHEESE and MEATS!......well I say STUFF the farmers, life is NOT a one way road! Farmers pollute it they fix it up.
It has always been so Labour are townies who do not realise farmers are caring for the land and the animals with few exceptions.I remember a townie bought a block with sheep. Farmer said take ewes off lush grass feed sparingly before planningOh no too cruel to cut their feed so didn't listen. Every ewe had trouble delivering lambs some sheep died some lambs died all had bad experiences with the planningNuff sed
#Poorfarmers .... National you're hero's now so lower the cost of healthy food!!! so all people can afford to eat well have a meaningful Environment policy for NZ and if you even dare to put in place new taxes, levies and fees for all us to pay for your promises in the next 3 years think again Bill have a nice day
An article from stuff
But is National really a steadier hand when it comes to controlling the Government books? Is a vote for Labour actually a vote for financial instability? The short answer is no.We took a look at some basic economic indicators, including net debt as a percentage of GDP and surpluses, under the Helen Clark-led Labour Government as well as the John Key-led National Government. What we found wasn't what National would have us believe.Clark's fifth Labour Government reduced debt from 22.6 per cent of GDP in 2000 to 5.5 per cent in 2008.That same Labour Government went from a $386 million deficit in 2001, to a $2.8b surplus in 2008.During Key's National Government, debt as a percentage of GDP went from 9.1 per cent in 2009 to 24.6 per cent in 2016.
Its too sunny need $$$, its too rainy need $$$, its snowing need $$$. Those horrible tourist drivers stopping me from speeding, those horrible townie cops stopping me drunk driving home What you want to tax us ? :(
Of course English is loved for the corporate welfare he's happy to continue with... that city folks taxes help pay for farmers mess
We notice the filthy rivers, the rubbish piles with the green plastic balage wrap waiting to be set alight, the smell of burning plastic polluting the country air, the dead holes filled with rotting corpses and chemicals and the oiled roads to keep dust off your washing line when you chose to live rural. So we notice you alright, and we notice you claim back the GST on everything inc the Holden V8s and the fuel that runs them, and we notice the price of meat and butter. We notice
