Most New Zealanders feel taxed enough already. Working New Zealanders can feel in their gut that they'd see nothing to show from a raft of new taxes. It's just Labour taking from the productive to give to the unproductive, down a big black hole. Labour's lack of transparency is currently their downfall.
I certainly hope it hasn't dimmed. I was so excited that for once people might be be the focus of the NZ Government again.
She is going to ruin this country ..shes going to make the working middle class family broke and that is the back bone of Nz ..if you think things are tough now ...well it will get even harder under labour ...unless of course you are a moocher then youll be in luck for a year or 2 until the rest of us drop down a cog or 2 and join you and the money you get runs out because everything we worked for has gone because of the taxes on everything
What do they mean by Nationals scare tactics? I don't think they have used scare tactics although I do feel like we are watching a horror movie 🎈. I just think NZlanders are smart and can see through the fact that 3 months ago Labour was a shambles and Jacinda being at the helm does not change the crew on board.
It's a rogue poll.... just wait national.... going down. LABOUR ALL THE WAY. Real stats here
This one-off poll stops the trend of three polls showing National falling. Poll trends are always more important than one-off results.
National's scare tactics might work, which is a shame because NZ has some of the lowest taxes around on the rich
National keep going.
New Zealanders are becoming aware of the clear choice facing them this election. It’s between continuing to go forward with Bill English’s strong National team or backwards with Labour and its very different economic agenda.
Together we can keep our economy growing strongly and ensure we can have the chance to do more for Kiwi families like:
raising incomescreating more permanent jobsextending paid parental leave to 22 weeks, andmaking doctor’s visits cheaper. It also means we’ll have the opportunity to tackle long-term challenges like the Prime Minister’s commitment to lifting 100,000 children out of poverty by 2020, getting cities like Auckland moving more quickly and giving 80,000 more Kiwis the chance to get into their first home.
If we stall New Zealand’s growth with the seven new taxes Labour wants to introduce - including a Capital Gains Tax, Land Tax, Inheritance Tax, Regional Fuel Tax and a punitive Water Tax on farmers - along with significantly more debt to cover their spending spree, there won’t be any money to help those who need it or when the country needs it.
The true poll happens on 23rd...I don't believe that latest poll as it's quite a huge shift in numbers in favour of national...I think they polled a staunch national district
Under national, average house prices has risen hundreds of thousands of dollars, our abhorrent suicide rate has been ignored and treated as a liability, and homelessness continues to rise. I'd warn that you'd be losing more than $1000 of your earnings under National, but we already have. If having a strong economy means ignoring the most vulnerable in NZ, a vote for National will continue us on that path. It is possible to have a government that cares about both the people and the economy. Lets give Labour a chance.
Yep English has no charisma. But jacinda will not only ruin southland but the whole country. Yes if you are wanting to be on a benefit for life vote Labour. If you want the country to move forward vote TOP. 😂 didn't expect that did you.
